  • "I have been blessed to study under Kailash Purohit, Om Deep Raj Yogshala. Will be continuing my education and practice there because there is no better place to be for inspiration and gaining knowledge".

    Deepa D.

  • "OM Deep Raj Yogshala’s RYT300 class was an amazing experience. The breadth and depth of knowledge shared during the classes by knowledgeable teachers and a lead teacher who grew up in India’s yogic way of life and the Yoga in Daily Life System was of immeasurable benefit. Teachers are friendly and go above and beyond to ensure that students understand the broad range of material. I especially appreciated the valuable class assignments that allowed for the presentation of a wide range of topics. Class assignments allowed us to both teach and learn from fellow students in a way that allowed for additional learning that included both the modern, scientific approach to yoga, as well as the traditional philosophy and yogic way of life".

    Tammy A.

  • "After I completed my 200-hour training at the Om Deep Raj Yogshala school, I started teaching. I feel even stronger as a teacher now that I have completed the 300-hour training. I really enjoyed the deep dive into philosophy that was an integral part of the training here. Also, the advanced meditation, pranayama & kriya instruction has made my own practice more substantial. Kailash and the other instructors are super friendly & supportive and encouraged us as we explored the teaching path that was right for each of us. They are consistent about teaching authentic yoga and their passion for yoga never wavers. I would highly recommend this yoga school to anyone thinking about becoming a yoga teacher, and even for those who just want to take their own practice to the next level".

    Julia B.

  • "All the teachers at this school are extremely knowledgeable and willing to share their experiences. They are very generous with their time and make an effort to make sure that we understand everything. Our main teacher has been doing yoga since she was a child (and it shows!) and is affiliated with an international yoga system!"

    Zeenat W.

  • "The instructors were very kind, knowledgeable, cooperative and did an excellent job in training the students. They were very professional in understanding the needs of the students. The syllabus was very well structured and in order from Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation. I was very pleased to learn about yoga philosophy , Patanjali yoga sutras, and discuss about Bhagvad Gita in very detail ,which helps us to learn about the whole yoga system. Yoga is not all about Asanas or posture. We had paper assignments, taught asanas and also had to teach a meditation class as a requirement for the teacher training to be able to teach a yoga class. The class settings were very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed learning the meditation through each Chakras and how it relates to each parts of the body through Prana , and how one can self-realize and contribute to the wellbeing of humans physically, mentally with mindfulness by practicing Yoga, the science of life. I highly recommend this school to people who wants to learn Yoga".

    Meena I.

  • "Yoga is not just about asanas and pranayama. There are several layers to yoga and this school provides training g in all its vastness. Classes were organized to suit the virtual platform due to Covid restrictions; the classes were live where the teachers and students trained in real time. All topics of yoga, including asana, pranayama, aspects of Bhagvad GITA and Yoga Sutras were given dedicated time and discussion. Each student had the opportunity to teach a meditation class and 1asana in detail and take 1entire class of 1.5 hours. There were 5 paper assignments, on topics related to the abstract parts of yoga, which were discussed in class. The teachers are friendly and flexible and helpful when required. Due to Covid, we were unable to perform the kriyas together but we have been reassured that once covid precautions are no longer required, these will be arranged. Overall, a structured and friendly ambience with added benefits of deeper study through yoga sutra and Bhagvad Gita".

    Trushna N.

  • "This is a wonderful Yoga School with very kind, knowledgeable teachers. During my time here, I have learned so much about authentic yoga. Their mission is to help others, and it really shows in all the work they do to reach the community".
